ofi’s nuts team recognized for industry excellence and innovation at INC Congress

ofi’s nuts team was awarded the Corporate Golden Nut Award, by the International Nut and Dried Fruit

Council (INC) Congress. The Golden Nut Award is the top international recognition of excellence in the nuts industry. The team also received the Innovation Award for Cashew Nut Oil Dipping Sauces & Dressings, which use minimally processed cashew oil to address consumer interest in the plant-based market.

Held at the INC Congress in Dubai, the Golden Nut award was presented to Olam Group CEO Sunny Verghese. The Congress is the world's largest gathering of leadership in the nuts and fruit industry. The meeting explores the state of the market, sustainability seminars, and key trends, as well as roundtables for each nut and dried fruit.

 

Experts from ofi spoke at the following sessions:

  • Sunny Verghese, Group CEO of Olam Group, gave a keynote speech on ways we can successfully and sustainably improve the food and agricultural system.
  • Krishen served on the panel titled, “Matching Supply Chain To Production And Consumption Trends: Looking Into The Future.”
  • Anupam Jindel, Country Head Turkey, Global Head Hazelnuts & Sesame chaired the Hazelnuts round table.
  • Ümit Ergin, Vice President - Product Line Manager & Head of Sales Cashews participated in the Cashews round table.
