Welcome to ofi’s 2023 Nut Trails impact report, charting our journey to more sustainable nut supply chains and the choices we’re making to help farmers prosper, protect the rights of children and workers, and promote regenerative agriculture. These choices are guided by and contribute to ofi’s overarching sustainability strategy Choices for Change.

We set out to find more creative, productive & sustainable ways of supplying cashew, hazelnut, & almond ingredients. By developing each of our trails, each with dedicated 2023 targets, we aim to scale up our impact on the most pressing issues.

Cashew Trail

We aim to fight poverty and create economic opportunity by improving the livelihoods of people living in cashew communities and growing farmer yields.

Hazelnut Trail

With a focus on eliminating child labor and improving working conditions for thousands of seasonal mirgrant workers, Hazelnut Trail also offers more transparency for consumers.

Almond Trail

Producing high-quality almonds with an optimal environmental footprint.
